Founded in 2009 by Managing Director, Rob Hughes, what started off as one man’s dream, quickly transformed into a dynamic team of highly skilled designers, developers, marketing strategists and content writers, offering a fantastic range of marketing services in Shropshire.
Reech continues to grow stronger and stronger…
We quickly became one of Shropshire’s leading marketing agencies in the industry with a consistently rising client portfolio and team. Over the years we have maintained strong relationships with our clients by providing the best creative projects and customer services. Our clients include Wolverhampton Wanderers, Jim Blurton, Pure Telecom, Arrow County Supplies, Shropshire Festivals, Lingen Davies Cancer Fund and Abbey Logistics to name a few. Our team has also expanded with the appointment of five new full-time members this year, with skill sets ranging from Web Developers and Graphic Designers through to Content Creators.
To celebrate our ninth successful year in business today we are sharing with you our top nine milestones:
1. Our first dedicated office space
After a successful first year in a small box bedroom, we finally leased our first proper office in 2010 at Leaton Forest Offices, giving us our first official home.
2. Apprentices and investing in young people
We believe investing time in young people is important and we actively source and mentor young talent in Shropshire to create a consistent level of creativity. Demi Lee joined us in 2011 as our first ever Reech apprentice and since then we have taken a further three apprentices and 20+ work experience students under our wing. Together with this we have offered multiple internship positions and training to young people. Jonny is one of our shining stars and a brilliant example of our dedication to mentoring young people. Jonny has been with us since 2013 where he started as a Graphic Design Apprentice and this year celebrates his fifth year at Reech as a Graphic Designer.
3. Shortlisted for prestigious Hotel Marketing Association Award (HMA)
We were one of three finalists at the Hotel Marketing Association Awards for ‘Best Hotel Website and Search Engine Optimisation’, nominated for our work with Mellington Hall Country House Hotel. The Hotel Marketing Association is the official branch of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) designed specifically for the hotel and hospitality industry. We were shortlisted across all award categories, up against a number of leading hotels including Scotlands Gleneagles and Manchester’s Radisson Blu Hotel; who stole the winning spot.
4. Giving back to the community
We believe in giving back to the community and we seek to help charities wherever possible. We have worked alongside leading Shropshire charities including Lingen Davies Cancer Fund, Shrewsbury Town in the Community, Severn Hospice and Shropshire Youth Support Trust, where our Managing Director, Rob Hughes is an active trustee. Charities are built on the foundations of care and the support of one another and we strive to continuously support as many charities as we can.
5. Recommended Agency Register (RAR)
At the beginning of 2018 we were awarded Recommended Agency status by our clients for the sixth consecutive year. This status is awarded to creative agencies based on client testimonials. We were recommended for an astonishing 17 marketing services, both traditional and specialist, exceeding all other Shrewsbury-based agencies combined.
6. In Shropshire for Shropshire
We are a Shropshire based marketing agency committed to offering genuine marketing services for Shropshire businesses, creating a bona fide alternative from having to go to London or Manchester based agencies. Receiving a Mayors’ Gold Award earlier this year for our ‘Commitment to Business’ highlights our dedication to our Shropshire home.
7. Moving to Shrewsbury Business Park
In December 2015, we made the incisive step of moving to our new home located at Shrewsbury Business Park. This was a major milestone in Reech’s history. Not only did it double our office space, but it also signified our commitment to local businesses and allowed us to be more visible, residing in the historic marketing town of Shrewsbury. The offices set us up in a wonderful creative space, with fantastic facilities to host client meetings and easy access and parking. It continues to be the perfect location for our vibrant marketing agency.
8. Shropshire Business Awards
We have been shortlisted for 10 Shropshire Business Awards including Apprenticeships, Leisure and Tourism, Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Best Small Business, Business in the Community and Best Place to Work – to name but a few. Each nomination was carefully selected from hundreds of applicants, based on a strict criteria. This is a strong reflection of our reputation and how our profile is so highly regarded across the county.
