Alongside our creative team, we have our technical team, equipped with professional web designers and developers. Not only do we produce bespoke WordPress websites for the majority of our clients, we also create microsites to accompany some of our clients campaigns.
Our web development team love building websites of all sizes and is another reason why they love working at Reech. Our Senior Web Developer, Chris Murray chose the microsite we designed and developed for Ironbridge Gorge Museums as his favourite development project of 2018.
We launched a new microsite for Ironbridge Gorge Museums, one of Shropshire’s leading historical heritage sites, to support their Summer 2018 campaign. The new microsite, created by our highly skilled team of in-house developers, was a bespoke build utilizing the WordPress framework.
Ironbridge Gorge Museums is an industrial heritage organisation which currently runs ten museums and 35 historic sites within the Ironbridge Gorge in Shropshire.
The new microsite was designed to support the ‘Let’s Keep Creating Memories’ campaign which was followed by printed adverts and a ‘What’s On’ guide. In addition, the photography and video footage used throughout the new website was also captured by Reech which showcased the attractions and activities on offer.
The development process...
Our microsite design and development process is three-fold. Firstly, we start off with a project brief, which includes the development of a sitemap, SEO strategy, and a detailed project plan.
The design comes second. Once the website design brief has been agreed, the creative work begins. We mock-up engaging and eye-catching designs offering a superior User Experience (UX), that are suited to reflect your businesses brand and positioning. Once a design has been agreed upon, we move on to the final process…. the development.
In addition to the benefits of an easy to use CMS, Ironbridge Gorge Museums website, just like all the microsites and websites we create, was enabled with Google Analytics and Yoast, a WordPress Search Engine Optimisation Plugin. This means Ironbridge Gorge Museums can optimise their content, helping them rank higher on Search Engines such as Google.
